17- Yeah I wouldn’t recommend going past 30w GaN without PPS just in case, although maybe the phone would automatically regulate / prevent overcharge I would imagine. I just think in order to get the full 30w quick charge you definitely need PPS with PD 3 I believe type of charger. When I search for my charger I just type “PPS PD 3 charger” and that found me a few online at least.
But yeah without PPS I don’t think my phone is charging at the 30 or 33watts or whatever the fastest was for CMF phone 1, I forget. It charges around 20-25Watts with this cheap GaN 30watt charger which is plenty fast for me for the time being. I never charge this phone past 80 percent either, lasts sometimes 10+ SOT even 14 SOT but I don’t play games only thing I do that drains battery a lot would be YouTube.
Sorry I saw your reply this late, hope all is well though. Oh figured I’ll warn you beware of buying certain cheap Chinese wall chargers off of Amazon, I bought one and the cord it came with literally broke within the span of a few days just stopped working with no warning signs. All of a sudden didn’t charge anything had to return it… :/ Oh well I learned a lesson, get a decent more well known brand if you’re really trying to go for a good charger that won’t break in a year. I’ll see how long this 10 dollar one will last me. 😂 I think it was one from FiveBelow. (I really think they need to rename that store cuz we all know half the crap is over $5 lmao maybe call it TenAbove or something… Now typign that I’m imagining that’s where the rich people go when they want to go to a “dollar” store they go to their nearest TenAbove.)
