Gesture Bar - Help

Hey guys, just got the new phone!

It feels super good after Iphone 11, and mostly I don’t have any questions for this phone, especially for the price I paid, but there is design flaws in certain applications.

In applications like Telegram, Steam, Discord, Outlook, Gmail there is ugly black line covering the white line that works like “home” button (hope you will understand).

Im not even talking about local apps for certain countries like George,PID, Bolt,Wolt and ect. in Czech Republic, but maybe there is a way to remove it?

Does everyone have this problem or is it a bug?

sch192 Hey mate, this isn’t necessarily a design flaw with the device but, one of the Android OS. You can remove the bar completely via settings > special features > gestures > navigation mode > click settings next to gesture navigation > toggle on ‘hide navigation bar’

However then you will lose access to circle to search.

I’d also suggest logging this as feedback via settings > system > feedback

hrry Hey, the problem is that if you remove the navigation bar, the menu or navigation bar of the app slides down and it looks terrible. Do you have some other recommandations? I think that like you said the problem is the Android OS.
