I am also having this issue. Phone rings and when I answer it disconnects. It appears for me that it only occurs from phone numbers that belong to either automatically generated numbers or numbers from my employer which uses a large bank of different phone numbers (does that make sense?) I thought it might be the phone or my provider thinking the number was spam.

Same thing has been happening with my Nothing Phone (1) for the past few months. No solution worked so far.

Facing the same issue. Using Airtel postpaid, and Vodafone with phone 1. Incoming calls are getting rejected automatically. I noticed that mobile network goes away after two rings. So, spam filter should not be the issue. Some issue with the phone 1 only.

Facing the same issue. Sim changed operator changed. But problem remains same. Incoming calls get disconnected after one ring. That too is random. Is there any solution or I have to live with it

samitchakrabarty actually it’s due to 5g network as calling via 5g is not too stable so change your network settings to 4g or 5g/4g auto mode

That does not fix the issue, my phone still has an issue with reception. I even changed my sim. Still no hope. Even though all others have reception in the same area.

My friend had a similar issue with his iPhone. It fixed when he changed to eSim

Ujjawal_02 hi after trying out with a brand new sim and a different service provider , i finally took it to the service center. they told that the motherboard may be faulty and needs to replaced that would be equal to70% of the phones total value.

my warranty just finished a few months ago.

such a bad experience.

Same here!
I knew that buying a phone from a “startup” was a risk, but having the most important function for me (making phone calls) not working properly is unbearable. I’m self-employed and I can’t afford to miss a call from a client because my phone isn’t working properly! 😡

elvistorpedo I know dude it’s very annoying but nothing is trying to overcome issues and I am sure they will soon provide any fix or you can also go to service centre for quick and better help

When some one is calling me , my nothing phone 1 is hanging up directly. He only ring 1 time

I feel the fibrations from my watch. But I am always too late.

So I have to call back.

Maybe important, it happens not always. But quite often.

What can I do.
