Recent Gesture Not Working in App Drawer on CMF Phone 2 Pro

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with my CMF Phone 2 Pro. The recent apps gesture (swipe-up-and-hold) works fine on most screens, but it doesn’t respond at all when I’m in the app drawer.

No matter how I try (slow swipe, fast swipe, different angles), it seems like the phone ignores the gesture when the app drawer is open. I have to first exit the app drawer and then perform the gesture for recent apps to show up.

I’ve tried:

Restarting the phone

Making sure the system is up to date

No luck so far.

Is anyone else facing this problem? Is this a known bug or is there a setting I might have missed?

It isn’t supposed to. The app drawer is an overlay on top of the launcher, just like the recents menu is. You can’t have an overlay on top of an overlay.

Why would you even need to call the Recents menu from the app drawer? Slide the drawer down and then slide up for recents, simple.
