Messages from iPhone won’t Transfer to CMF Phone 2 pro

As the title suggests, I’m having difficulties transferring messages from my iPhone 8 Plus to the CMF phone 2 pro. All my other data transfers over seamlessly. I understand that there are incompatibilities with iMessage, but messages sent with sms won’t show either. After the transfer is complete I get a note under messages that states “there were no items to transfer”. I already reached out to nothing and I’ve gone through their recommendations with no luck. I would like to transfer all past messages so any input would be appreciated.

calliope737 hey mate. Have you tried using the Android Switch app (available on iOS) to help with the transfer from iOS to CMF?

What other troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Y eah, the android switch method was the first thing I tried. Unfortunately, transferring over WiFi doesn’t allow message transfer, at least for me. I’ll look more into it.

As for troubleshooting, I’ve backed up to iCloud, turned off iMessage, and used wired transfer. I might be able to back up my data to iTunes and then just download my messages once the phone is set up. Trying to avoid this so I don’t have to reset the phone again.
