I am not convinced the battery status displayed is anywhere near accurate. For instance today I have had two lengthy phone calls, checked the news and social media and used Google maps for directions yet 100% battery life is still displayed.
Then what usually happens is the battery level will suddenly fall rapidly late afternoon even if the phone is not being used.
