I’ve been using Fleksy, yes in 2025. It’s highly intuitive and easier to and faster to type in compared to swipe keyboards.
But since it’s ancient with no updates the mic feature doesn’t work and the dictionary isn’t as good as Gboard is in terms of saving your lingo automatically.
What’s Fleksy good at -
Typing Ease.
Autocorrect predictions.
Aesthetic.
Privacy.
What’s Fleksy bad at -
Dictionary updating.
No typing via voice input.
Some useless non replaceable features like opening an additional app like YouTube directly via a keyboard or accessing some old apps that are now dead.
What’d Gboard good at -
Voice typing.
Saving your lingo.
Clipboard.
Number placement like a keyboard NumPad when switching from letters to numbers.
What’s board bad at -
TYPING.
Hear me out please.
Make a nothing keyboard app. Cause now you have phones to put your app in.
Other players aren’t making keyboard apps cause no one’s gonna adopt. No one’s gonna switch from Gboard or SwiftKey to anything else unless they realize how crappy both really are.
Use Fleksy and you’ll feel what I’m pouring out here.
