Dedicated Macro Mode on (3a) - Let's talk!

Hey everyone! 👋

I’ve been exploring the camera on my Nothing Phone 3a and noticed that there’s no dedicated Macro Photography Mode. Given how powerful the camera hardware is, especially for close-up details, I wonder:

Will Nothing add a macro mode in a future update?

If yes, when can we realistically expect it?

And if not, what could be the reason behind not including it—hardware limitation or software priority?

Would love to hear your thoughts, experiences, or any official insight if you have one. Also, if you’ve tried creative workarounds for macro shots, do share them here!

What would that mode change? It doesn’t have a separate macro lense so it could only do what you can do in the normal camera mode

I also have a nothing phone 3a and I love to take close up shots.

The photos are awesome even without that mode but I loved this idea. Nothing please make this come true!

Yes, it is mainly a difficulty for the camera oriented purchasing customers mainly in the 2x camera there is no closeup focus, but in the cmf phone 2 pro it is capable for that, so expecting nothing team to introduce that macro mode option through next update
