I’ve been using my Phone (2) with OS 3.0 (build V3.0-250506-1805), and honestly, I’m starting to get a bit frustrated with a few issues that have been popping up recently. Just wanted to check if others are facing the same.
1. Sky Game Crashing After Long Play
I regularly play Sky, and every single time after around 1.5 to 2 hours of playing, the phone slows down badly—like the UI becomes unresponsive, I can’t swipe up properly, and eventually the game crashes. Sometimes even the launcher restarts like the phone is recovering from something.
Out of curiosity, I checked the memory usage through ADB, and the game’s RAM usage shoots up from 1GB to over 3.2GB before crashing. Swap memory also fills up. It looks like the game is leaking memory slowly, and Nothing OS just can’t handle it properly.
Funny thing is, this doesn’t happen to my friends playing the same game on other phones—so it seems like a Nothing OS issue.
2. Battery Backup
Battery life has dropped a lot since the recent update. Even with light to moderate use, I struggle to get 5 hours of screen-on time.I’ve kept brightness low, background usage restricted, and even set the screen to 60Hz—but the drain is still noticeable, especially in standby. No heavy apps running either.
3.Camera
The camera’s been pretty average right from the start. Honestly, I don’t think it’s going to improve much—probably not until the Phone (3) comes out.
I also shared feedback with the support team. They asked for logs, which I provided, but I haven’t received a single proper response. When I followed up to ask for an update, all they said was to take my phone to a service center—which honestly doesn’t feel helpful for a software issue.
