2aplus_ Am I the only one who still cannot access the gallery directly from the camera after this update?
o0SGR0o PinoLY I’m all In with you, I also expected a Brush along with multiple color chooser, Pen, Eraser (and Object eraser), text writing with effects and stylized text boxes, you know stuff that we are accustomed since EVER, yeah, disappointing!
swaroopkrishna Rob ⚡️ please get back previous version layout..new version just look like any other gallery app. I didn’t like the album arrangements.i does not feel like NOTHING @Carl
Hrishikesh it’s a great improvement and a much-needed refresh! The new design and overall performance feel smoother and more intuitive. That said, I’d love to see even more creative tools integrated into the app. Features like collage creation, a magic eraser for unwanted objects, and enhanced video editing options would really take the app to the next level. Specifically, tools like adding custom audio to videos, merging multiple video clips, and more granular editing capabilities would be amazing additions , excited to see what’s coming next!👍
Benestin Linson Rob ⚡️ but after the latest update of nothing gallery I am not getting Basic editing tools like text adding and stickers adding and other features only limited editing tools are available On CMF phone 2 pro and the phone is running on the latest software version provided by the nothing. And now I am using gallery the old version by uninstalling the updates from settings. Actually it’s not an upgrade it’s completely an downgrade
Apratim Rob ⚡️ Thanks a lot, that was a much needed feature, and I’m so glad it’s finally out! However, I’d love to see a Collage feature with ratios and all, like Samsung Gallery (it’s much better than Google Photos imo). Please consider adding that.
jay_again Anyone facing any issue here related to gallery not opening from camera? I take photo, I try open it from camera app itself. it doesnt open nothing gallery. before getting this editor update, I used diff gallery. it used to work fine with it. anyone knows anything? I did reinstall gallery app but still same.
PinoLY AbdallahAyman On N Phone 1 and N Phone 2, it’s not possible to set the NOTHING Gallery as the default app. You can disable Google Photos so that the camera opens the NOTHING Gallery instead, but you’ll lose all the editing features available in Google Photos (which, by the way, aren’t included in the NOTHING Gallery).
AbdallahAyman Okay , how ? I had the gallery app downloaded from Google and when the update happened I removed it but when I go to the camera app and take a picture and go directly to the picture through the camera app it doesn’t let me in and I don’t know what the problem is?
CMF1_hacker AbdallahAyman settings It’s better is you figure it out on your own and then use that in the future Fish for a man; teach a man to fish, etc… (I’m a prof fwiw)
CMF1_hacker I used adb and removed Google Photos. Then the default options are available on NOTHING gallery. Example: For some more precise commands via adb:
PinoLY CMF1_hacker This way you only have the editing functions of NOTHING Gallery… if you want to draw a circle or a line can you do that?
CMF1_hacker PinoLY I agree … For regular usage Google Photos editing tools are stellar. I’m forcing myself to play with NOTHING’s Gallery app which is fun with the filters Adb is king for putting stuff on or off the phone.
