This wouldn’t be too out of place, honestly. A big part of Nothing’s design philosophy hardware-wise is built on how light refracts and behaves in different ways, so this approach would streamline that approach into the OS also!

nice attention detail especially the bouncy haptics. I really don’t think nothing, or any other android phones are going to adapt such design language cause already their new refreshed material 3 expressive is out and that’s an impressive update. Anyway, keep up the good work🔥

Rahul It’s not good, First it is copied from iOS 26 and second blur or transparency effects only looks good in control centre or system ui elements not on home screen or lockscreen

Rahul I don’t want to disrespect your work so please bear with me. Liquid Glass is very much inspired in the Windows Aero design language that Windows Vista (launched in 2007) was based on. It was nice at the time but that transparency all over the OS is outdated and imo will become boring very quickly.

Nothing OS should not be inspired by Apple (or Microsoft) trends. I’ve never understood the fascination of iOS because I love freedom and customisation. Please don’t try to make Nothing Phones more Apple clones, like many Chinese companies already try or have tried.

Rahul Never been a fan of liquid glass and it looks really disturbing as im currently on the developer beta. They did fix a few things here and there especially the blurriness. However, The blend of frosted glass shown in this video is something that caught my eye. Looks playable and interesting enough to catch the attention. @Rahul may be we could see more of it in an app, or a set of widgets to see how it looks on a larger scale. That would potentially give a better idea. I mean, who knew snake widget could become a thing, was just a concept when you started right. IMO, give it a shot.
