Hello friends, it’s Debayan again, a student and a passionate photographer. I spent my past 4 weeks with the CMF Phone 2 Pro. This isn’t just about spec-sheet breakdown , its more about how the phone actually feels and performs in real life. Thanks @Deepanshu_Saini_ and whole Nothing community team for believing me and providing this opportunity.

I got the green variant of the CMF Phone 2 Pro. Inside the box you get a 33W charger, a clear TPU case, a SIM ejector tool, a Type-C to Type-C cable, and the documentation — pretty much everything you need to get started. The box itself is made of recycled paper, which doesn’t feel premium at all. But it’s a step toward sustainability, so I respect that

The phone itself felt slightly plasticky in hand, but it’s light and grippy, which really helped during one-handed use. The modular back looks interesting, though I didn’t get any accessories to test it with, so for me, it was more of a design element than a feature.

The display works well for daily tasks — watching videos, browsing, editing photos — and supports HDR too. I used it outdoors and felt that a bit more brightness would’ve helped, especially in sunlight.
Now lets talk about the camera

The phone packs a 50MP main camera, a 50MP 2x telephoto, and an 8MP ultra-wide — and honestly, this is one of its strongest features of this phone. I used the main sensor the most and it consistently delivered good results — sharp details, balanced colours, and natural tones. Portraits turned out well from both the main and telephoto cameras. The 2x lens is actually usable. Even the ultra-wide held up better than I expected

It runs on the Dimensity 7300 Pro with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Day-to-day usage was fine — multitasking, light editing, and general navigation felt smooth. The 5000mAh battery easily lasted me a day with casual use, but charging speed is on the slower side .

It runs on Nothing OS 3.2, and I really liked the bloat-free experience. Everything feels clean, minimal, and light — no unnecessary apps or clutter. However, the animations need work. One small thing that matters to me as a photographer , the Nothing Gallery app doesn’t let you reapply watermarks after cropping or editing a photo. So if the watermark gets cut off, there’s no way to add it back. It’s a small detail, but it matters when you’re sharing work online

The CMF Phone 2 Pro isn’t built to impress with specs alone — it’s a device that focuses on simplicity, design, and daily usability. The cameras deliver well, the UI is clean, and the design feels fresh and unique, especially at this price point. For ₹18K, this is a phone that doesn’t try too hard and still manages to fit naturally into a creator’s daily flow. For people who value clean software and balanced hardware, it’s definitely worth considering

Thanks for reading till the end! 😊 Signing off for now .But before that, I’m dropping an exclusive look at what could be the upcoming Nothing Phone (concept). Not sure if it’s the final design or just a prototype… but it’s definitely interesting. What do you think? Let’s talk in the replies. 👀📷. Just excited to try 50MP periscope.
