What’s up, community!
I’m back with the CMF Phone 2 Pro after using it for 28 days in real life.
Now, I’m not going to waste your time with a lengthy review. We all know what smartphones are and what they do. No one wants to read a 5,000-word essay just to find out if it’s worth it. So, here’s the deal:
This review is all about what’s actually different. What makes this phone stand out. The design, the quirks, the things that surprised me, and the stuff that actually matters in daily use.
Let’s dive right in!
Design 🛠️

The CMF Phone 2 Pro looks like a natural upgrade from the CMF Phone (1). It has sharper details and a more confident look. The dual-tone textures on the back give it a unique character, and the white color stands out—it feels really premium, both in looks and in how it feels in your hand.
One thing you’ll notice right away is how thin this phone is. It’s the thinnest phone Nothing has ever made. But even though it’s slim, it’s still bigger than most phones. And that’s on purpose. @Carl said that at this price point, this phone is like a main computer for many people.
The phone is made of plastic, but it doesn’t feel cheap at all. It’s clean, simple, and works well. Overall, this is a big step forward in design.
Cameras 📸

The camera system on the CMF Phone 2 Pro is surprisingly impressive for its price. It has a triple-camera setup that performs really well in most shooting conditions.
In everyday use, it takes 8 out of 10 photos that really impress. They have good depth, clarity, and reliable color accuracy. For a phone in this price range, the overall image quality is among the best in its class.
That said, the ultrawide lens could use some improvement. There’s a bit of softness at the edges, and the detail doesn’t quite match the main sensor. The fact that it doesn’t have optical image stabilization (OIS) is a bit of a bummer, especially in low light or when things are moving fast. This can sometimes cause blur.
Here’s some shots taken from the CMF,

But overall, the system is solid and reliable. It’s not just about the specs—this setup actually performs well in real-world use. For a phone in this price bracket, the camera system delivers on its promise.
Battery 🔋

The CMF Phone 2 Pro has a big battery that lasts a whole day with heavy use and almost two days with moderate use. It’s a great companion for most users.
It charges really fast with 33W wired charging, and it even comes with a charging adapter in the box, which is a nice touch. It doesn’t charge wirelessly, but that’s understandable for this price.
At first, there were some problems with charging, but those seem to be fixed with a recent software update. Now, the charging is smooth and consistent.
Overall, the battery life is great and reliable, so you can use it all day without worrying about running out of juice.
Software, Performance & Display ⚡️

The CMF Phone 2 Pro boasts a whopping 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that’s not just big, it’s stunning. This same panel is used in the Nothing Phone (3a) series, featuring even bezels, and an impressive peak brightness of 3000 nits. Whether you’re scrolling outdoors or watching HDR content, it handles light and color like a true flagship. At this price point, it’s hard to ask for more.
On the software side, it runs Nothing OS 3.2, and true to the brand’s philosophy, the experience is clean, fast, and bloat-free. This is one of the very few phones in its segment that ships with zero ads or preloaded junk apps. The user interface is minimal, monochrome, and highly optimized.
What’s even more impressive is the software stability—unlike many budget phones that need multiple patches after launch, the CMF Phone 2 Pro launched with very few bugs, and any early quirks were quickly fixed through updates. Kudos to the software team for such a polished release.
In terms of performance, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro, a solid upgrade over the previous generation. It handles multitasking with ease, and while heavy gaming may occasionally cause frame drops, day-to-day performance remains smooth and reliable. For its category, it absolutely holds its own.

And that wraps up my 28-day review of the CMF Phone 2 Pro. One thing that genuinely surprised me? Unlike most review programs where we end up reporting a long list of bugs—this one had almost none. And I mean that. The out-of-box software experience was solid and stable, which says a lot about how polished this release really is.
Sure, there are a few trade-offs at this price—like the mono speaker, and the lack of NFC on the Indian variant. But then again, you do get a charger in the box, which kind of balances that out in today’s market.
All things considered, this phone punches well above its weight. From design to display to software, the CMF Phone 2 Pro isn’t trying to be everything—but it nails what matters most.
That’s it from me. Grateful to be part of the review program, and shoutout to @Deepanshu_Saini_ for making it smooth all the way.
Until next time,
Peace out ✌️
