youbi The Portishead “ roads” is a great candidate for sure. Currently I’m listening to it while I write this and it’s that sort of songs that it’s hard to get tired of.
Hah, that’s one of the greatest things about threads like these: yesterday, while and after I wrote that message, I kept listening to Portishead.
Considering that “Third” was released in 2008, I see that they were inspired by Tool - the wait with them was from 2006 (“10,000 Days”) to 2019 (“Fear Inoculum”). 😅
And it seems Spotify has a perfect playlist to complement this thread. I mean, they literally have a playlist called “Songs to Test Headphones With”.
A fellow Deus Ex fan? Speaking about soundtracks from videogames, anything with Jessica Curry gets my recommendation. For example, here you have “All the Earth” from the “Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture” OST.
