I’m using the CMF Phone 1 and appreciate the clean software experience so far. However, I noticed that when I use the hidden settings menu (*#*#4636#*#*) and select “NR Only” under preferred network type, the phone does not stay locked on 5G even when I’m in a strong 5G coverage area.
It seems the device falls back to LTE automatically, and “NR Only” doesn’t take effect properly. This is a feature many power users value—especially for testing 5G performance or ensuring the best speeds in known 5G zones.
I kindly request the development team to:
Allow “NR Only” mode to be respected and retained when applied,
Or provide a native option in network settings to lock the device to 5G only.
This will greatly improve the experience for users who want to make the most of the phone’s 5G capabilities. Thank you for your attention to this feature request!
