I did some research and here’s what I found: yes, on paper, the Nothing Phone (3) has a weaker telephoto camera compared to the 3a Pro. However, during the launch event, attendees were told that thanks to advanced image processing, the actual photo results should be just as good—or even better—than those from the 3a Pro.
On the plus side, this new sensor is smaller, which allows it to focus at just 10 cm in macro mode, compared to 15 cm on the 3a Pro.
