Thanish Thahir I want to start by saying I don’t have a Nothing phone yet but I just ordered my first. I keep seeing conflicting information on the LLM utilized by the device. Does Essential search use Gemini or and on device version of Gemini Nano?

I had to go to apkmirror and look for the update there, download it and install it, curiously in the playstore it appears that I installed an update from the same playstore and not from external media

I recommend that those who have not yet received the update go to apkmirror and install it, it works as it should, installed on NP2

If you’re a Nothing 3a user and the Essential Search Bar isn’t showing up, first make sure you’ve updated to the latest version of Nothing Launcher (v3.3.4) from the Play Store link here. After updating, restart your phone to apply changes. Then, long-press on your home screen, tap “Widgets” or “Home settings,” and check if the Essential Search Bar can be added or enabled manually.

Essential search doesnt work on NP1. İ cannot choose default search engine.

Hello , I am currently using the Nothing 3a and I do not have the option to update the Nothing Launcher from Play Store, just the Uninstall button. And I checked for OS update ( rn on 3.1) and even there, there is no option for updating, just says up to date.

Edit: So to get into the beta program , I needed to go to a different email address( one which is was a throwaway , ) which was not my main email address as apparently the Nothing Launcher app was linked to the other email address which I don’t know how it happened because I don’t think I ever inputted any email into Nothing Launcher , even my Nothing profile is based on my main email so ,is there a way to change the email which is linked to nothing Launcher ?
