📦Unboxing Experience ✨
The unboxing experience is quite familiar if you’ve used the Phone (1) or (2). The box is square shaped and slim, the typical Nothing style packaging. I really liked the camera module design and the Glyph Matrix highlight featured on the front of the outer box.Unlike the tear-to-open packaging of the Phone (1) and (2), this one feels more refined and more practical, yet still premium.
Inside the box:
📱 The Phone (3) itself.
🔌 A transparent-headed Type-C to Type-C charging cable with Nothing branding on the tip.
📍 The cool-looking, transparent, cylinder-shaped SIM ejector pin.
🫧 A transparent soft TPU case. (though I was expecting a hard case)
📄 User manual.
🛡️ A pre-applied screen protector on the phone.
😅 But as expected, no charger in the box.

Display📱
I must say the display is impressive. The symmetrical bezels around the display give it a clean, full screen look. Since I mostly use my phone outdoors, I appreciate how clearly visible it is even under direct sunlight. The colors are punchy and vibrant, which is exactly how I like.

Cameras 📸
Coming to the cameras, I’ve tested them quite a bit and I’m really loving the results so far. I genuinely appreciate Nothing for the effort they have put into improving the camera system, it’s a huge upgrade over the Phone (1)&(2).I’m totally amazed by the macro capabilities of the 3x periscope sensor, it can capture subjects as close as 10cm, and the details and sharpness, look quite impressive as of now. Ofcourse, I still need to explore and test the cameras more in different lighting and real world scenarios, but things are looking very promising so far.
And Here are some macro shots 📸👇🏽

**More macro shots coming soon !!**😃
Glyph Matrix 🦀
The new Glyph Matrix really grabbed my attention. The phone features a pressure sensitive button on the back, located in the right corner, which lets you quickly access and switch between different Glyph Matrix functions. It’s fun to use especially the Glyph Mirror feature, which lets you preview yourself on the back glyph matrix to take selfies with the back main camera.I have enabled the Always On Glyph with the battery indicator, and it gives off a cool and futuristic vibe.

Haptics 🔘
Absolutely loving the haptics! Typing feels super satisfying probably the best haptics I have experienced on a phone so far. Even the haptic feedback on the glyph matrix’s pressure sensitive button feels fantastic.
Lastly,
I will add from a consumer perspective, spending ₹80,000 on a phone powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen4 doesn’t feel justified. It’s a good chipset, no doubt, but not quite enough to match that premium price tag. This is not my final conclusion, I will be using the it as my primary device and will be sharing a detailed review.Let’s see if it changes my opinion on the price-to-performance ratio over time or not .So, that was my first impressions on the Nothing Phone 3 after using it for a few days.
A big thank you to our Community Manager Deepanshu Saini for letting me get an early hands-on experience 🙌
