Without a doubt, Nothing has become a brand that stands apart — defined by its fearless originality and refusal to follow conventions. And for that, I’m deeply grateful.
Before Nothing, the idea of using a device without iOS and an Apple logo on the back felt unthinkable. But you came along and changed everything.
And I’m not alone. Countless tech YouTubers have admitted that Nothing gave them the push they needed to break free from the limbo Apple had kept them in for years.
I often compare Nothing to Steve Jobs’ earliest sketches — those wild ideas and unfinished dreams that were once deemed impossible or insane. But you? You bring those dreams to life. You sail forward, even through storms of criticism. And for that, every team member deserves the highest praise.
Today, I want to open a mature and respectful space — a moment for the community to share what we truly hope for from Nothing in the years ahead.
You’ve proven yourselves to be masters of design. Even if the aesthetic doesn’t appeal to everyone, you’re not just delivering a black block with cameras. Every curve, every texture, every light — it all shows dedication and intentionality.
Take the Phone (3) as an example: it has received criticism, sure — but so few are seeing the bigger picture. Maybe I’m wrong, but even if Apple or Samsung create technically superior flagships… no one gives you anything anymore. Not even a charger.
And yet Nothing, still a relatively young company, gives you a cable, a case, the phone, the design — they even gifted earbuds during pre-orders. How is that not worth celebrating?
And now, the new Headphone 1: simply stunning. If you criticize them, it’s likely because you’re looking for something to complain about. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before. The sound quality matches the price. The button layout is smart. And yes — they have a headphone jack. (Something we never should’ve lost.)
As a devoted fan, I say this with admiration: it’s time for evolution.
Nothing has already proven it can create beautiful and functional tech. Now it’s time to astonish us again. To take the next big leap.
Here’s a thought: take a two-year break from launching new phones or variants. Two years to breathe. To grow. To explore bold new frontiers.
Imagine a tablet. A laptop. Or better yet — a music player. A reimagined iPod with Nothing’s DNA: physical design inspired by the 7th-gen iPod Nano, a glyph light on the side to indicate volume, a touchpad on the back, native integration with Spotify or YouTube Music. A futuristic MP3 player.
A pause isn’t a setback — it’s preparation. And if you return in two years, guided by your community’s feedback, the comeback of Nothing Phone won’t just be another product launch. It will be a defining moment in tech history.
With the release of Phone (3), you’re finally stepping into the American market — and make no mistake, Nothing is about to grow fast.
But let’s be honest: competing with the tech giants that dominate the U.S. industry is nearly impossible if your focus remains solely on phones and earbuds.
That’s why this is my sincere recommendation:
For the next two years, take a bold pause. No new phones. No new earbuds.
Instead, show the world something unexpected. Prove that Nothing isn’t just another tech brand — prove that Nothing is here to stay.
Start building a broader ecosystem. TABLETS, LAPTOPS, MONITORS, MP3 PLAYERS, TRACKERS, RIGNS, WATCH ETC. Create something that expands your identity. Behind closed doors, work on a Nothing Phone that will leave the industry speechless — a device so refined, so visionary, it will make even the giants look over their shoulders.
Two years of growth.
Two years of planting the future.
Two years that could define the legacy of Nothing.
“Sometimes the future can be found in the past…”
