Why the Glyph Interface Deserves to Evolve, Not Disappear

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to say—one of the main reasons I love the Nothing phones is because of the Glyph Interface. It’s genuinely different from anything else out there, and honestly, it’s part of what makes these phones feel unique.

It’s not just for looks either. The way it handles notifications, charging indicators, and silent alerts is actually useful. I really hope Nothing continues to include (and improve!) the Glyph Interface in future models.

Some ideas that could make it even better:

Let us customize Glyph patterns for specific apps or contacts
Open it up for third-party developers to use
Add more features like bedtime/DND Glyph controls
Battery charging indication and more prodcutive notifications

Yeah same here, I’m sad it’s gone. Phone (3) was a big miss imo but have faith they’ll listen.

I really think they should’ve kept and evolved the glyph interface then integrated the glyph matrix into the watch.

Official only support on phone 1 and 2 but with for example glyphfy all are supported

Eventually these features are disappearing in nothing phone 3a and 3 Pro, we need to make use of existing apps from nothing as a company, why do we need to rely on third-party apps.
