This is my first Nothing phone ever! I am a long time Samsung user, starting with the S5 up to my previous device the S22 Ultra.
I’ve been following Nothing on YT and socials for about a year. Always fascinated with their vision and have learned a lot with how phones are designed and curated. Always loved how the phones look and the idea behind mono themes.
I bought a Phone 3 today from Optus in Australia - the first telco here to carry the Nothing range I think. Got a white 256GB version and will hopefully receive the Headphones 1 in the coming weeks or days.
Data transfer was effortless. Surprised it knew to transfer my eSIM over - have always needed to do this manually. So far everything works well. The keyboard will take a little getting used to, as will the volume keys on the left side. I always liked Samsung’s contact and messaging apps - the Google versions never interested me, so this will take some time to get used to also.
Overall I’m really happy with the look, feel, responsiveness, OS theme. Will give it a good run with the camera and glyph as I start driving it full time.
