I would love to see a replaceable battery in the upcoming CMF or Nothing phones — just like in the Fairphone 6.
Both companies are based in Europe; you guys should consider collaborating and bring some truly epic phones to the industry. It would be a game changer if a phone could have a replaceable battery and be available globally.
Of course, I understand this could potentially dent profits, since many of us replace our phones mainly because of battery degradation. If batteries were easily replaceable, we’d keep our phones much longer.
For example, my Nothing Phone 1 was in mint condition — I always take good care of my devices — but the battery wasn’t holding up. Eventually, I exchanged it for a Nothing Phone 3 through Flipkart.
