Battery information section unavailable on (3a) series- help

I got a video recommended where the person shows how to check battery health, but I can’t find that feature on my Nothing Phone 3a Pro.

Same version as you (3.1-250xxx), but what a weird decision to region-restrict access to that information, wow. Thanks for the info RapidZapper !

Anonymous931 I believe it is because the EEA has a higher level of restrictions and procedures put in place on Consumer Electronics manufacturers such as Nothing. Therefore, Nothing isn’t legally required to implement this feature in other regions, unlike the EEA. Just look at how Apple switched over to USB C instead of Lightning, because of EEA pressure.

Err_404NotFound I get that restrictions part but why don’t they think that feature is actually very useful. So just make it available to all users I mean I will literally pay them if I am able to unlock that feature on my device

They should literally make a way for answer all of the user’s questions atleast I think my question is good enough to be answered

I am using the phone in India region. The info is not available now but when I first rebooted my new phone in May that battery info was available but sadly there was an update and magically they removed it….

Don’t know why ??

This battery info must be provided my all manufacturers. It is very useful.

But Nothing provides just useless features in their phones. For eg. News widget, from Nothing, where CFO narrates the news. The feature is good but they provides US news only. Why would I care what is happening, has happened or about to happen in US? There is no region specific narration.

This is the widget/feature which Nothing can remove from India variants rather than hiding basic battery info..

As a company nothing is disappointing lately those widget are good but eat battery try using pedometer + weather widget you will see what i mean

I hv been facing pedometer widget freeze issue from over 50 days now. No update till yet. I even wrote mail regarding the bug where pedometer freezes in lock screen when using with AOD. Their response was to go to the nearest service center with bill and phone box…😞😞😞

Thats nonsense to visit service centre for a software bug which was not there initially and came after updating May update..
