Battery Health Dropped to 99% After Just 6 Cycles – Anyone Else?

Hey everyone,

I just got the brand new Nothing Phone (3) and noticed something odd — after only 6 full charging cycles, the battery capacity has already dropped to 99%.

On my other phones, even after 100+ cycles, the capacity still shows 100%.

Has anyone else experienced a similar drop this early on?

Just wondering if this is normal or something to be concerned about

denizkalkan1234 Maybe heating? That chip cooks itself if pushed, That also means batteries will have accelerated wear. A guy on the forums reported a battery temp of 55°C after cycling 3dmark. You might wanna try installing accubattery and completely cycle a couple times to test what the true capacity actually was.

denizkalkan1234 there might be a chance that battery health number doesn’t show in decimals…. so your battery would be around 99.9# % but it shows 99%… and in Europe market…they give you a card in the box that mention efficiency of mobile…in that card it is mentioned that this phones battery is rated for 1400 cycles to come 80% capacity… so your battery might have 99.91% health… 🫡👍🏻

Mine was already at 99% after charging three times. But I’m not worried for now. If it stays that way, everything’s fine.

How do I view this, I don’t have an option in battery

Go to the settings and then battery and then you will see a option of battery information down below

Settings>battery>battery information

Or you could search settings search bar search “battery information”

Hope it will help you to find it 🤞

Given the chip hits 65c+ under load it’s probably “normal” as temperatures that high can damage a battery
