Earphones stuttering when connected with Nothing Phone (3)

I am facing stuttering with Nothing Ear (2024) connected to Nothing Phone (3) when phone top portion covered from hand or phone kept in trousers pocket. Sometimes the sound stops completely till I take the phone out of the pocket. I recently purchased the Phone (3) and since the very first day I am facing this problem. Previously I had Nothing Phone (1) with which this very earphones were working properly.

Ankit hey am facing the same issue already sent a big report, hope they will immediately fix it, if it's a hardware issue they need to fix it ASAP it's very irritating,but the work around is to turn off bluetooth for one or twice after initial connection then it's fine.hope it's a software bug they will fix it 🤞🏼

Ankit I’ve recently upgraded from np1 to np3 and having the same problem. Np1 worked flawlessly.

Has anyone been able to solve the issue? Mine is driving me insane. Funny thing is that I don’t have this problem with the cheap honor earbuds that run on aac codec. Switching to aac on nothing ear 2024 doesn’t help.

Ankit i have the exact same setup and the exact same problem.

If i cover one side of my phone with my hands or body it cuts out intermittently. If i keep my phone on my left pocket , same problem.

I honestly love the looks of it but it’s just so frustrrating. Reason why I’m moving to wired via SIMGOT EW300DSP

I have to update, one of the comments mentioned using AVRCP version from default 1.6 to 1.4 , its waaay better now. Almost no stutters

I can’t varify this issue on my Phone (3) in combination with my Ear Open. Even though I am actually using a phone pouch, so when walking around the phone is always inside that pouch, not only inside the trouser pockets. I also just tried to cover the upper half of the phone with both hands, however audio output (Spotify) is well without any hickups.

Hi. I also use the Nothing Ear 2024 with the Phone (3) and I am experiencing LHDC stutter with the phone as well when using the 1000kbps option. I also came from the Phone (1) which had solved it’s LHDC issue on 1000kbps after updating to Nothing OS 3.0 but it seems the issues have returned with the Phone (3).

Ankit Yeah, definitely an issue in this case. I would report using the feedback tool on the phone in settings

hopeisaprison Hey, yeah I did report it but the issue still occurs. I am hoping Nothing OS 4.0 fixes it but I don’t have high hopes. You should also report the problem to increase the number of cases.

I have experienced the same though it’s not consistent. Sometimes it happens and sometimes the connection is fine. I’m using the Ear 2024 with LDAC enabled.

Ok I’ll make a report, from what I see - it’s just enough to put the phone in the pocket and maybe press slightly on the back.

Same here. If I put my Phone 3 in the back pocket of my jeans while out walking, the sound via my Ear (2024) stutters like crazy.

The issue still persists on the NOS 4.0 beta.

Anonymous994 yes same happenes my buds case in left pocket and phone in right pocket and it's start going crazy connection breaks only solution i found is to reconnect one or twice to solve the issue very annoying, for a premium phone if this kind of negligence then i don't know why they want to sell premium phones

I think they won't solve it and it is a hardware issue, maybe this is the reason why buying a phone from 'startup' company wasn't good idea, they have so many problems that don't happen with big companies (they couldn't fix Wi-Fi issues for a few months…)

updated phone 3 to 4.0 stable version still same i think nothing isn’t cheking community, if not they might have released a fix patch, no community moderator so the developers are not aware of it? such a shame a small thing cannot be fixed, anyone who updated to 4.0 did the issue solved. please respond

Man, it’s probably a hardware issue. They can’t fix it with software…

hopeisaprison what so as long as we need have this phone we need to adjust with it as i don’t notice the issue with bluetooth speakers but only with buds so may not be a hardware issue
