Is anyone else experiencing a significant degradation in camera performance on their Nothing Phone 2a after recent updates?
I’ve noticed several major problems that are making the camera almost unusable:
* Inconsistent Color: The color consistency between the ultrawide and primary cameras is drastically off, making photos look unnatural.
* Unnatural Photos: Images now have excessive contrast and generally don’t look natural.
* Increased Shutter Lag/Stutter: There’s a noticeable delay and increased stutter when taking photos, which is incredibly frustrating.
* Video Color Instability: Video recording is also suffering. Even slight changes in lighting cause drastic shifts in color consistency.
* Washed-Out Whites & Unnatural Skin Tones: When filming against a white background, the white areas appear unnaturally bright and blown out. Additionally, human skin tones are rendered very inaccurately, looking far from natural.
These issues are severely impacting the camera experience. Has anyone found any workarounds or is Nothing aware of these problems? It feels like every update is making the camera worse, not better.
