NOS3.5 jittery

I’ve purchased the NP3 (the cheaper variant) and I’m enjoying it a lot so far but sometimes the OS seems a bit laggy for some reason when scrolling fast or in other times .. is this a known issue? Will it be fixed? I moved from Galaxy S24 so this kind of stuff is very noticeable… especially that it is on the NP3 cost the same as the galaxy was when I bought it last year…

The_Phoenix If you just got it then it might be setting up stuff in the background and just getting used to, well, being used. I’m a Phone (2) user, and while I’m on NOS 3.2 the home screen and stuff basically never lags unless it’s on start-up. So a more powerful device really shouldn’t either…

Did you port some Samsung Apps over? Or is this a fresh start?

I would only migrate from NOTHING to NOTHING devices as the software would be optimised for NOTHING OS.

In my experience, Samsung has some very unoptimised apps and the slowness can really be seen on the A0x through A3x series phones.

wtf984 its was quite random… i didnt have this for a few hours now… its happens with some animations sometimes

I am using my NP3 since over one and a half weeks now and can’t relate to the issue - it runs absolutely smooth and so far I haven’t been able to produce any noticeable lag or stuttering.

How long has it been since you have been migrated from your Samsung? Sometimes Android phones can be slower and run hotter in the first hours, maybe even day after fully migrating from a previous device.

No lagging issues here even when running applications while Google play store updates apps in the background.

One thing that can give the impression of lag is if certain applications run on less than 120Hz refresh rate. There are applications, mainly games, that are not optimised yet for Nothing Phone 3 like they are for Galaxy devices.

You can enable the display refresh rate indication through the developer settings and then try to run the application that feels laggish
