Phone heating when using small apps

Idk why my phone gets insanely hot when I use it for watching reels or calling somebody and at the same time when I use it to play some games at high settings it doesn’t get heated at all

I use CMF phone 2 pro and it has 8 +4gb ram

Sounds like the apps are garbage.
