So far so good…. battery life seems to have increased. Although I work most of the day, this recent update seems to have improved my phone overall. Still testing things out for any potential bugs but so far so good! 🤙🏼

NOS 2.5.1 is Smooth and Great OS, My observation after using for a week

When the phone is in power saver mode (Below 20% of battery ) Alarm gives a warning and it will not work.
When “Extra dim” is ON when lock the phone brightness will peek to high and then locks the phone
In AOD Display with Adaptive brightness ON, brightness of AOD Will Varies with brightness, if it can be at contact brightness power consumption can be improved.

Rob ⚡️ Facing sim card storage full post updating to 2.5.1 on nothing phone 2. There is no message on the sim but still the error message is shown. I am using Airtel sim. Many others have also reported this issue.

Make taskbar the same for changing internet source, when unlocked. When locked, you can swipe to select between wifi and mobile data. But when unlocked, you cannot.

I am facing a similar issue from INDIA. I got the update on Christmas but was waiting to hard reset my phone and get the data sorted…today when I tried to find the update…it is showing system is up to date on Android 13. as if no update ever existed.

Battery life has improved significantly
Animations are smooth
The music widget is cool
Screen time widget gives a sense of responsibility

Features need to be improved:

Camera app needs a major update (shutter speed is slow, pics take a long time to appear on gallery,etc.)

Sometimes the phone hangs when I try to switch between two locked apps ( multiple apps are open in the background)
The default Equalizer needs improvement. The sound quality is bad.

Rob ⚡️ hi from Italy, I’m Max, a Nothing Phone (2)'s user since a month before its official release (I tested and review led it in advance). I’ve been part of the first users to test NothingOS 2.5, contacted directly from Nothing. Then I installed the two betas but, I don’t know why, I’m not able to receive the stable version and I’m still locked on beta 2 and Google’s October Security Patch.
