AmirHussaini Sounds fair, however I don’t plan on performing factory reset. Will give it a try without reset then 🙂

Unbelievable to publish such a flawed rom.  a smartphone with which you cannot make calls from your contacts.  Only direct number entry works.  No change after factory reset, still the same error!  Guys, in twenty years I have never seen the basic functions of a smartphone NOT work.

    Guys to fix the contacts app glitch, you can go to play store, uninstall updates for contacts and reinstall them. That should fix it. If that doesn’t work then go to settings, then apps, see all apps and from the top right menu, reset app preferences. This should fix it.

    They need to fix this asap, this never happened to me in beta 2. I don’t know why and how they updated a good beta update into a bad stable update. This is why Android has QPR betas, to find stuff like this and fix it.

      Can you please try this troubleshooting:

      Kindly restart the device

      Clear the cache and storage of the relative application

      Uninstall and install the application

      Update the latest software version

      Backup user data and restore factory settings

      Increase your Storage Space - clear cache

      Restart Your Device Regularly - Hold the power button and volume up button simultaneously until the Nothing logo appears on the display.

      Update OS system - go to Settings> System> System Update.

        I followed the procedure, the problem still exists. Mount / System E:Couldn’t Access State File. 🤷🏼

          If your update deployment is slow kindly make the file available on your site, till now I didn’t get any update.

          JacekWielog_rski it’s a Runtime exception in Java, kinda bad actually but hopefully they will fix it. You try to reset app maybe it will get fixed by doing so.

            Sickchild72 hey i use only stable virsons that means update will be available in few days right coz i wasn’t on beta

            Rob ⚡️ Hey Rob, It’s been more than 2 days now. I didn’t receive any OTA yet to update to Nothing OS 2.5. I know the update delivery is being staggered. This is really a tiring procedure checking the Settings> System> System Update every half an hour.
