Glyph lights are working in all scenarios except the ringtone. When setting a ringtone from my sounds the lights are awkwardly turning off slowly, doesn’t syncing properly. This all is happening after today’s update

It’s interesting to see how people /behave’ when updates get announced.
I, like many others, always want to get these things the instant they are issued. I know I am really impatient about these things
Patience is a virtue, as they say
#np2 #uk #v2.0.4
AmirHussaini okay okay let assume only 1 peopel in world uses that copy paste
But long press copy paste PICTURES is a unique and useful feature
What about that , nothing should give this
And yes as you said they should give this , i am saying that too
- This give a good vibe while using i tried on S23 ultra and this feel good
Thanks for answering btw

[deleted] I understand your feeling. Because same goes with me too.
That is why I installed Open Beta 2 and updated 2.5 from there because when I roll back to 2.0.4, I wait 5 hours and every 1 hour I check the update, but the update is not available.
Well, it’s a staged release, can’t do anything lah. Except for the method I did. But can be applied from Open Beta to Stable.
kaushal_desai Correct, and hope that the features missing is a bug on Nothing OS 2.5 since vanilla Android (we consider Pixel to be vanilla Android) have it. If they said is a Pixel feature, Samsung also got it.
Anyway, thanks for highlighting those features.
There’s one function people requested, which is allowing an external mic on Type-C. But seems like not many people request it.

AmirHussaini Wait:
You installed open beta… which then allowed you to get stable 2.5.1? What’s the catch/downside?
… just tried it: There’s not beta to install anymore. Darn!
- (Edited)
AmirHussaini nothing os 2.4
[deleted]
Erling We need to wait and be patient
Is there some who don’t have problems with phone and people apps ,after update 2.5.1.?
ZudoA works fine here.
[deleted] yes. I think the Open Beta users got the Stable update earlier than 2.0.4 Stable users to ask the user to move from Open Beta to Stable. (similar to iOS, you get a Stable update even if you are on Public/Developer Beta)
Back to the topic, the catch is from the beginning. Android 13 to 14, I recommend formatting it after upgrading to 14 because this is a major Android upgrade.
If you want to Open Beta 2 files, please let me know, I still keep the file. They already closed the Open Beta 2 update because 2.5 Stable has been released.

Erling Just want clarify, is 2.0.4 right? Android 13, correct?
BurpSuite i did try resetting, no go.
Does upgrading to beta leads to data loss?
GurmohitSingh Generally no, but it’s always advised to backup your data. Which beta is it you’re referring to? Phone 2 has a full 2.5 release rolling out currently and Phone 1 has an open beta coming before the end of the year.
Firmware (bot) When will the update be available for Nothing Phone 2 in Poland? Or where can I download a ZIP package for manual installation?
- (Edited)
yoaxoe i dont think there is any manual zip file or something but they are saying that update will be available anytime within 5 to 6 days.

KosmasKosmidis did you try with Phone app too? Is it works?
- (Edited)
Calling works from Favourites and recent calls tabs. Not from contacts list Same on Phone App
Also , you can’t call directly from Google Message app.
Obviously something is broken
