Sharing firmware goes against the T&Cs of this community. Please do not break the rules

Sorry if we broke any rules, I just shared my experience and thank Amir, it will not be repeated
KosmasKosmidis same for me, this is insane. If they donโt fix it upcoming week I will unleash my fury. Oh yeah and please, Nothing, donโt bull-sheet me with โreset your phone to factoryโ talk. I donโt want to spend a day refurnituring my phone because of a lousy helpdesk talk.
I like the new update, it looks nice and stuff like that. But there is a huge problem, my phone does not work with the latest update. Both contacts and phone give an error, because of which I cannot call people, but I can receive calls. Tried installing third party apps as well.
[deleted] Yes I know. That is why I shared it by PM him.
Iโm not putting the link here because MOD is not allowed. I back up Open Beta files and roll back files because I can go play again if I want to check something. (I asked their permission since Open Beta 1, but not returned.
)
Anywho, from what I can see, needs a factory reset to make everything work. Because upgrade from Android 13 to 14, maybe.
And sorry MOD and everyone, if we break the rules. Just want to help users who want to update faster.

AkashShetty When did u get the update
TxNiko Which one? Is glyph ringtone, custom or default? Or glyph composer?
I checked both, works fine on my phone.
But, if you have a bug on glyph light, donโt forget to report this bug via the Feedback app or Google Form Feedback for them to acknowledge this bug.

Buhtaten Are you update from 2.0.4 to 2.5? Or Open Beta 2 to 2.5?
I was afraid this was related to an upgrade from Android 13 to Android 14. You need a factory reset after the update. But, it is so headache to backup reinstall, setup again everything.
I should try rolling back to 2.0.4 and upgrade from 2.0.4, but is a staged release and I donโt have the patience to wait. Hahahaha
How are u guys able to go to beta? I installed the app and it says I have the latest firmware
VladTudor Open Beta is closed because Stable has been released. That is why it says you already have the latest firmware.
It will open again for the next Open Beta, probably Android 15.
When will they add or enable the option to use a USB-C external microphone with the native camera on the Nothing for recording videos with better audio quality? As a content creator, this is the only missing feature, along with stabilization for the wide-angle camera. Someone, please take this into consideration. It works with the voice recorder, TikTok, or a GCam but not with the camera app.
Does anyone know how to activate it? I need it."
still no support for hig framerate gaming
SrsThewrongguy me too ,
AmirHussaini OK, so this update is first rolling to only beta tester and then may be if any bug comes up, the dev team will fix it and then roll back to the stable user.
BhupinderSingh_ECdZcBAIs3 I am afraid is not like that bro, because the update appears on the System update, not from the Beta upgrade tool app. It means itโs a Stable release.
If it appears on the Beta upgrade tools app, then makes sense as you said.
They also mention this.
Firmware (bot) Firmware rollouts are usually staggered, meaning not all users will receive the update simultaneously. This approach allows us to monitor for any issues and ensure a smooth and stable deployment.
The reason is to avoid more lucky people facing the same problem.
By right, some users starting to get the update. It is better late than never to get the update.
souravgk is it need to change auto update in developer option to get 2.5
