Sickchild72 I tried the update file people found online but only worked from the beta since it’s incremental. Wouldn’t start on mine. Here’s the screenshot:
AFranquinho try this. Install beta tool .apk. flash full beta2 package. Then check for update.
Sickchild72 yes. If install Open Beta 2, definitely get a 2.5 update.
But unfortunately, they already stop the seed Open Beta 2. So, can’t install Open Beta 2, unless someone has already backed up it.

Does anyone know how to enable the option to record with an external microphone using the Nothing camera through the USB-C port? Is there a way to activate it, or is it only possible with an external app?
ItsAssassin not et all excepted your arguments…already 4 day’s over if Nothing feels there is a serious bug would have been stopped within 2 days…as all 2.5 Beta user received. If still not stopped and claiming staggered release…shows very poor server capacity.
Daniel sorry to say…Nothing has poor infra, except beta users hardly people receive OTA

Not heavy usage and mostly use Waze and Apple Music (lossless audio). Light usage of social media and reading manga.
16-18 December I downloaded in-game resources files.

TejasMaisuriya Yes but it’s not wrong to play Open Beta if you know what are you doing.
As long you factory reset after installing Open Beta and factory reset after back to Stable, should be ok. (for this case, my phone is fine but the result may be different to others)
But who wants to reinstall and set up everything again, and again? (yep, I do every time change ROM Stable > Beta and Beta to Stable on iOS, OxygenOS and Nothing OS)
So, if don’t want to touch Open Beta, is fine and wait until it is released. Chill. (I understand everyone already chilling)
Just continue the life and when a notification update pops up, just update. The world did not end yet if not update 2.5.

RJ07 Yes, it’s provided by the official Nothing support team. Rest assured! You can verify the credibility by checking feedback from those who have already sideloaded it in case any doubts arise. If you still have concerns you can choose not to use it and wait for official OTA rollout.
TejasMaisuriya yes correct. Even a Stable build itself has different results too.
Btw this is Open Beta 1 and Open Beta 2 zip from the OTA Beta app and as you see it it uses the same name.
I save those files because I can install them back if I want to see or check something. (rollback zip also saves, in case I want back to Stable because roll back are bypass rule that can’t install the update if the file is a newer build)
