I thought the next update was Open Beta 3, finally, they released the Stable version. 🤣

Anyway, I roll back to 2.0.4 from Open Beta 2 and see if it triggered Stable 2.5 or not and of course will factory reset because it is a major upgrade. (Android 13 to Android 14)

I will update the progress here if something not working or broken.

After the install 2.5 check Google Play store there is an ypdate too.

architect_wahid Always remember that every update is released staged.

This means, that if something is wrong somewhere, they can stop the update to avoid more ‘lucky’ users having ‘exclusive’ problems. Once they fixed it, then they continued the release. Affected users will get a hotfix or they push a hotfix alongside with new update. (the bigger update size is a full ROM and the smaller size, is a hotfix)

    ashutoshkumar_sg2 Yes. When I roll back to Stable after playing Open Beta 1 or 2 if not mistaken, I feel weird on my home screen and I notice, coloured shortcuts are on Android 14.

      So it’s been 3 hours huh. I bought mine in UAE ( phone 2 ) haven’t recieved the update so far. How is it guys. Those who got the update, any new glyphs or ringtones. Ah that back gesture animation is slick.

            TejasMaisuriya Assuming you’re referring to apects such as the customisable clock? This is not available currently. Although some aesthetics changes are made in Android 14, that doesnt necessarily mean that all OEMs will adopt this. Nothing will very likely continue to build out their own theme.

                Is it me, or were there a lot more wallpapers to choose from before this update? Currently, I can only choose from photos that are in my gallery, from Nothing, or just solid colors, while previously there were a bunch of default Android wallpapers (atleast I’m guessing they were default Android wallpapers. My previous phone, a Pixel 7 Pro, had the same collection), like the one in my screenshot. I was curious to try the new atmospheric effect, but in order to apply that you need to set the wallpaper again. Problem is that I can’t find it now.

                Was this collection removed on purpose, or is this something that we can expect to return?
