[deleted] brother you’ve got it wrong. Those bugs are already known ones. That have been reported by community a lot of times using that same feedback process. It would be nice if there was some sort of bug tracking for the OS, similar to github issues I guess.
📱 Phone (2) - Nothing OS 2.5 Changelog
It’s all about choice. You choose to install it manually… no problem. I and few more choose to wait for OTA… shouldn’t be a problem there too.
Illogical is.. when a company rolled out updates it should have reached to all by now.. that’s an expectation. Now, it’s ok if they are cautious enough and looking for more hamsters before the become a news headlines tomorrow morning. I’m ok to wait or with this delay… but tell a date.. PROFESSIONALISM can be expected from a global player.
None the less, I can only be a keyboard warrior here and waittttt till it hit my phone.

Well since we haven’t received the new update yet, let’s just discuss on different topics
- Is there any bugs present?
- Is there battery drain issue
- Does the new update cause green line issue
- Is the new update gonna get me a gf :-\
Does it happen to some that when carrying out the manual installation steps mentioned in comment #684, typing the number after creating the folder and copying the file comes up with the beta instead of 2.5.1 and on top of that it gives an error and does not leaves?

Imagine if this is a Motorola community discussion!
There is a issue regarding HDR videos in YouTube, basically it doesn’t work at all
jaidheep its not bout India particularly updates are nowhere in non beta
I think you think that this manual update was done by anyone or came from some dark place and that is not the case, my friend, this update and its installation instructions were sent by the Nothing technical service to the colleague who installed it and also to me. next day with the same guarantees as the one that will arrive by OTA, it is totally legal to wait whoever wants, but you should not think that by doing it manually it will work poorly or that it is not as official as the one that I received through OTA
Did you download the ROM from the file that accompanies the message? I had no problem following exactly those steps by putting it inside the folder created as ota
Im done waiting for update.
Happy Christmas to everyone, enjoy your holidays with your family
No update yet????
More than a week from the release date but “ NOTHING ” as the name of company
I think, imo, the whole purpose of roll out is meant to minimise damage during release, if roll out is slow it could mean the company is working on fixing any bugs reported or giving it enough time to sit in for a bit in case any bug is discovered like some time later. Which is good because then not everyone gets unsatisfied with bugs, bugs are bugs because they are unforeseen during development. I imagine if they had released for everyone at one go, today this post will be flushed with bugs complaints by unhappy customers instead of just nags about slow release, which is something a company would definitely not want. To me there’s nothing unprofessional about this but only professionalism. On nothing side maybe we could consider like a roll out region manager from community ? So instead of everyone nagging to you directly? We could nag to the region manager instead. Then the regional community manager is given the tasks to liaise with HQ perhaps a biweekly schedule then report back to that regional community.
Purely opinion nothing personal.
Yzyzyz region manager i see…so how can we do that can u elaborate how to contact with them
Yes, I do it like the video, the problem comes when I press that number and the same screen does not appear, it appears as if I were going to update to the beta, I have the “update to beta version” installed but I did not manage to update, I continue in 2.0.4, could that be why it doesn’t let me go to 2.5.1 manually?
