Hi,
I’m enjoying the Essential Space app so far, but I’ve run into a problem that I think many multilingual users might face especially those of us in Europe who use more than one language daily.
My system language is set to English, but I also speak Russian and Estonian. While the app handles English well, any time I want to record something in Russian or Estonian, I need to manually adjust the language recognition settings beforehand. If I don’t, the AI ends up transcribing Russian as Estonian or vice versa, which obviously breaks the output and limits usability.
This kind of friction likely won’t affect users in English-speaking countries, but for anyone using two or more languages regularly, it becomes a hassle.
Are there any plans to make language detection autonomous, so Essential Space can recognize the spoken language without requiring a manual switch each time?
Also, would it be possible to add a “Re-Create” or “Re-Process” button, allowing users to re-run an existing recording with a different language selected? That would really help fix accidental misclassifications without needing to start over from scratch.
Thanks in advance, looking forward to seeing how this app evolves.
