Following the presentation of the new product, the Nothing smartphone (1) and its new OS, integration of pure Nothing.

But for you what will be the basis, since it will be Android.

Android 12 that we find in almost all major flagship.

Android 13 indeed since February 10, 2022, Google offers developers a first “preview version” of Android 13. On 17 March, the company released a second version for developers, which should be the last.

Sib64 I have a feeling it will launch with Android 13. Otherwise what’s the point of 3 Years of OS updates, as in reality it’ll be only 2 Years of OS Update effectively if it launches with Android 12.

Fingers crossed for 13, I think the timing is right - it would be painful for the team to launch phone (1) with 12 and then immediately have to work on a 13 update!

      I fully agree.

If we follow the Android 13 (aka Tiramisu) roadmap

      • First developer preview: 11 February 2022

      • Second developer preview: 17 March 2022

Hope it won’t do as pixel A series…

Yeah I’m assuming they’ll launch with 13. With so much pressure riding on this phone, they can’t come out behind the curve. How cool would it be if they were mentioned as a launch partner at Google I/O???
