Hey Nothing People,
I am Siddhartha Malakar, a passionate photographer and here is my Final Review of the all new Nothing Phone 3 after using it one month.
Is it A Crowd Gatherer, Charming , different looking? The best Camera Performer ? Or A All Rounder ? Let’s breake these one by one -
Design: Just above some design Highlight of Nothing Phone 3, in first glimpse it may not that attractive to some people but by the time you will fall for the design. Most importantly many people outside on the streets or Bus, Metro asked me about the Phone. Especially The Glyph Matrix it adds a extra spices in the design line. So yeah it it no doubt a Crowd Gather and Charming.
The Phone 3 comes with Dual Stereo Speakers which is really loud and it’s sound is really amazing. One probably don’t need a small speaker. The sound is clear and tuned well. Also there is USB-C type charging port, a Dual Sim Slot. On the Left hand side Volume Up-Down key. One the Right side the Power On/ Off key along with a Essential Key. So here is all about the Design.
You may hate or Love it, you can’t ignore it.
Display -
It comes with 6.67″ 1.5k LTPS AMOLED Display. 120Hz 4500nits peaks brightness and it daylight condition it performs really well. It has really good for watching videos or any other type contents like Reels or Netflix anything. As I’m not a gamer so I’m not going to elaborate the refresh rates. As a photographer I really love and appreciate the display. Bezels can be matter differently for people but at this price we would expect a little less Bezels.
Performance -
It comes with Snapdragon 8s Gen4 with 12GB/16 GB RAM (LPDDR5X) and 256GB/512GB ROM UFS 4.0 . Again in the Price frame and specifications Snapdragon 8 Elite could be a better options. Although it performs well. No such complaints.
Battery -
It comes with 5500mAh Silicon Carbon Technology Battery with 65W Fast Charging which really charges your phone very fast. 15W Wireless Charging , 7.5W Reverse Edited Charging, 5W Reverse Wireless Charging. So in battery you will get plenty of options but again with this thickness we expected a bigger battery. Compared to price with the half of this price we can get bigger battery.
Camera -
You are getting 50MP (3x Periscop Camera) + 50MP (Main) +50MP (Ultrawide) rear camera. Even in Front you are getting 50MP Selfie Camera.
Photos are really good overall. You will get all the Nothing default Filters - B&W, Retro, Wide Angle, Soft Focus, Lenticular. I have posted a Detailed Review on it’s camera. Here is the Link - Nothing (3) Detailed Camera Review
There is a very interesting features during Video, now you are getting a Red Dot light which adds a really good elements in the design.
Nothing OS and UI -
This part is my most favourite because of its clean UI. I always wants a mobile phone that don’t give me useless pre-installed apps, ads. Updates are on time. It also comes with Nothing OS 3.5 with Android 15 our of the Box. It is providing 5 Years of Major Android Updates with 7 Years of security updates. It means we can have upto Android 20 on Nothing Phone 3. That’s crazy.
Glyph Matrix -
Those who used Nothing or like nothing from the begining they had a mixed feelings about this because few people likes the Glyph Lights which was introduced previously and the First user likes me really likes this Glyph Matrix. You can customise it with your own things like Call, messege, battery percentage, notifications. You can add apps notifications etc. But on a neutral view I think Glyph Light was better somehow why I’m saying so because it’s kind of Secondery Display provided by other brands in the market but Nothing add different elements with other features A Heptic Button in the back. So that you can tap and do fun stuffs.
The Glyph Mirror Selfie is also there. Again it is very much subjective and it’s cool. That’s it.
It comes with many AI Features and does a really good work.
In terms of connectivity it has - 19 5G Bands ; Dual 4G VoLTE ; Wi-Fi 7 ; Blutooth 6.0 ; NFC.

Cons -
× Fingerprint Sensor Positioning is too low
× Camera loses Focus mostly after 6x and 10x , Colour Shift issue
× Processor Should be Snapdragon 8 Elite
× There is some less basic features in Gallery - No option for making Collage.
Well that’s it from my side after using this after one month. There will be more improvements after updates.
