I’m facing an issue with captive Wi-Fi networks on my Nothing Phone 3a (Nothing OS 3.2).
Problem:
When connecting to Wi-Fi networks that require login credentials via a captive portal page, the phone does not prompt me to save the entered password. As a result, I have to manually re-enter the password every time I reconnect to that network, which is quite inconvenient.
Comparison:
My iPad and some other devices prompt to save the password after entering captive portal credentials, allowing automatic login next time. This useful feature seems to be missing here.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Connect to a Wi-Fi network with a captive portal login.
2. Enter your username/password on the portal page.
3. Notice that there’s no prompt to save the password for future automatic logins.
Expected behavior:
The phone should offer to save passwords on captive Wi-Fi login pages, enabling seamless reconnection without repeated manual input.
Is anyone else facing this? Would love to see this feature added in future updates!
