Hello Everyone,
Over the past 28 days, the Nothing Phone (3) became my window to every captured moment. As someone who lives behind the lens, I was genuinely impressed by the Nothing Phone (3), most of all its macro and portrait magic.

Overview :
This unit was kindly provided by Nothing as part of their review program. What you read here is my true perspective, unaltered and authentic. Yet again, Nothing’s loyalty to its own design identity has charmed me.
Display Performance : 9/10
The 6.67-inch flexible AMOLED display delivers crisp, vibrant visuals, with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for effortless scrolling. Though it’s not the brightest under harsh sunlight, its rich contrast and accurate colors make it a joy for everyday tasks, media, and gaming.
Design & Craft : 10/10
The transparent back with its updated Glyph looks more refined than ever. It stands out without being flashy, and the aluminum frame with Gorilla Glass makes it feel premium. Different by design and well executed, it’s definitely a head-turner.
Camera : 8/10
As I said at the start of this review, this is true macro magic. The Nothing Phone (3), with its lenses, opened a macro world I’d only seen in films or through specialised gear. Its new AI Super Resolution Zoom technology performs impressively, rivaling high-end flagships. The periscope lens captures clear, detailed shots from afar, while Portrait mode adds a natural depth that makes subjects shine. However, in certain situations, the camera left me disappointed — largely due to the post-capture image processing. I found that while the processing performs excellently at times, it can fall noticeably short in others. That said, in many instances, the post-capture image processing has impressed me. I’m confident that Nothing will continue to refine this technology and make it even better. Video recording is smooth, with strong stabilization that makes handheld shots look pro. It supports 4K at 60fps, and the zoom is impressive — you can even see tiny, ant-like creatures clearly and beautifully.
Below are some of the pictures I took that I really liked.

The Glyph Matrix : 9/10
The glyph matrix act as a communication mechanism through the help of 489 micro LEDs. Nothing’s Glyph Matrix gets a selfie-friendly upgrade, drawing us deeper into the world of Nothing.
Nothing Phone (3) built-in edit : 8.5/10
I felt the phone’s editing tools could use some improvement. For example, if a photo is taken with the watermark turned on, it would be helpful to have an option to remove it later without cropping the image. This is just my personal opinion.
Power Backup : 9/10
The 5500mAh battery lasts a full day with ease, and fast charging lets you refill quickly. Wireless charging is an added bonus.
Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 : 9/10
Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset gives us a truly immersive experience.
Upsides :
A powerful camera with exceptional macro prowess, unveiling intricate textures and tiny wonders like never before.
With its clean and intuitive stock Android interface, the software feels like a breath of fresh air in a fast-paced world.
The luxurious in-hand feel, paired with its distinctive design, delivers a genuine sense of elegance and a bold style statement. The standout rear design, highlighted by the latest Glyph Matrix, sparks curiosity and draws attention to the brand.
Designed to be your trusted companion, it enhances every gaming experience.
Downsides:
- Price feels a little pricey. At a price range of ₹40,000 to ₹50,000, this device would have been a genuine game-changer in its class.
Verdict : 8.5
Nothing Phone (3) is more than just a phone. It’s from the company Nothing, and it opened up new possibilities for our photography and beyond. If you’re ready to spend a bit more, it gives a special experience that most phones don’t especially in Macro World of Photography.
Thank You 🤍
