One thing I noticed. The YouTube shorts or any video doesn’t stop when your are on the recent items screen.
P.S: The performance drops too when screen recording or at normal.
Edit: You can swipe clear your game mode notification which was not possible in the 2.0.5 update. Is this a bug? This is actually happening on every non-clearable notification. 
Tried to pay with GPAY wallet at the market it didnt work :/

Hi ! The update is Great , but I have a question : Will the next “release channel” updates come to my phone 1 ? or I will stuck in 2.5 beta forever and need to do a wipe in order to get newer versions when they come out ?
To The ones like me that are on the closed beta, is there any solution to rollback and update to open?
Jos_Mar_aAnayaGuindos so far the only way is to unlock your bootloader and flash version 1.1.4 and the relock the bootloader and use check for updates within settings to get you back to 2.0.5. Then you can install the OPEN beta if you wish. Of course that wipes your phone.
After the update, VoWIFI completely disappeared as an option. I’m in Portugal with MEO.
VoLTE still works but VoWIFI stopped working as a whole.
I dont see the new widgets even though I updated my NP1 to 2.5beta… Anyone know how to fix this / get the new widgets?
Android Auto works both on cable and wirelessly.
Tested the 5G and it also works like a charm.
Made some payments with GPay.
In my humble opinion this beta is better then the last stable version. Absolutely love it.

All is going solid. No bugs, no crash, love the new wallpaper effect. Feature wise, I’m not a sucker for new feat. But I look more for performance (snapiness, ram management, wireless connection) and security updates. Android 14 is snappy, even on the NP-1. Np-2 must be even better.

Today Noticed a quite interesting bug with charging meter indicator glyph.
with 2.5 installed.
The charging glyph indicator continues to blink without stopping, i removed charging and connected again but it doesn’t repeated.
Carl Ph 1 users are real cults of Nothing just brought this on the name of CARL.

Rob There was a mention of adding the glyph progress bar to Google Calendar, a few weeks back. Will it be added in the stable update?
Only problem is battery health it is decreased a lot after 2.5 update
Rob I was really hoping that nothing phone (1) users will also get glass effect as it was very unique feature but it’s only for nothing phone (2) that’s a bit disappointing. I get it that we can not expect glyph timer as we have different glyph interface but glass effect is just a software tweak and can be easily provided. So at last I’ll request that please provide glass effect in next update as many of nothing phone (1) users are eagerly waiting.
Update: Glyph music visualisation doesn’t work well as it did in the last stable update. Please fix this ASAP. Still waiting for the next beta update.

The media player widget only works with a very small selection of music apps. Youtube is not supported but yt music is. Would it posssible to make it work with youtube app?
The media widget is anyways a total gimmick, it may look cool but who controls the media from the home screen? If I use the phone the easiest way is pulling down the media controls or using the controls of my earbuds. If I have my phone down it’s best to use earbuds controls or smartwatch controls, or you pick up the phone and use the media controls on the lock screen.
Anyways another day of extensive testing and I love my phone more than on the day one. 
This version completely ruined camera experience. Shot are look like a sh.. Now you can easily mistook photos from np1 with some redmi 7a - total oversharpnes, very bad contrast control, and overall postprocessed photos look very very cheap. Please turn down sharpness by half, photos would be much much better then.
Rob there is problem either with NFC or With Wallet app.. i cant pay i tried a couple of times in Supermarkets .. Petrol stations.. its not working

Today I have made factory reset on my beta version just to check if something will change regarding my NP1. Indeed now I am 100% satisfied.

mahendiran_tkd_india relax. You don’t need to factory reset, and it does NOT wipe your phone. It updates your current configuration to Android 14 beta and after the open beta is over you will get the final stable update OTA.
