hey guys i have a problem using bluetooth on the nothing phone 3

i have these earbuds which support ldac but when i connect it to the np3 it uses aptx adaptive

i’d like to force it to use ldac and i tried to do so in the dev options but it still says “aptx adaptive” on the bluetooth settings and if i reconnect and go back to dev settings it’s back to aptx adaptive

when i use the nothing buds it always defaults to ldac but for third party ones it goes to aptx adaptive, I wanted to ask if it would be possible to force it to use LDAC

Changing the codec in Developer Options only works until you reconnect the Bluetooth device. I had this issue with an iFi Go Blu Bluetooth receiver—I had to disable aptX in the settings via its app, and it started connecting via LDAC. On other headphones, changing the general Bluetooth settings helped; there’s a section somewhere about Qualcomm aptX preferences. You can also try the Bluetooth Codec Changer app—it worked well for me.
