Does anyone know if a Magsafe-style cover will harm the phone’s systems?

I was told that it could damage the Glyph Matrix button..

The onion man There shouldn’t be any case of damage atleast as long as the magnetic ring placement is right.

shouldn’t “damage” anything, but wrong placement of the ring may cause failure to charge. I’m having trouble with this myself, but placing the magnetic ring near the bottom seems to not interfere with charging, but then does not allow magnetic placement of charger.

As someone who had a Nothing Phone 2, I was really happy with these cases. They were the only ones I found (and I tried many) that fit the phone perfectly, and the materials they’re made from are really high-quality. Of course, they also have MagSafe. What’s most important is that I decided to try the same case for the Nothing Phone 3 and I’m just as happy. You can see for yourself in the pictures below.

yea, thanks. i actually just ordered this case.
Coming from oneplus, I’m hoping it will work with my existing Qi chargers (official oneplus AirVOOC) as i could not get placement correct for a stick-on-ring to not interfere – and this was after finding the exact location with a sensor.

might have to re-build it with a custom printed thing. we’ll see

The magsafe ring is in a different position and a full circle on Ali, but higher and broken on your photos.

I prefer your photos, but if that’s definitely it I’ll order one.

Anonymous994 The auction photos look different. I sent you the link I ordered from, and the one that came is like the photos I sent you. I’m very happy with this brand’s case; I had one for my Nothing Phone (2) for two years and think there’s no better-made case.

I applied one of these rings to back of the spigen case, with the cut out part pointed at the glyph button, working really well for me with all magsafe accessories. I don’t wireless charge with it though.

davidtaker yea, wireless charging is definitely hard to get right with a solid piece of metal.

my understanding is a series of ring magnets does not interfere with induction but I can’t explain this.
