Headphone (1) - Microphone quality

Anybody else having poor mic sound quality on the headphone 1? I purchased the headphone last week and so far I can’t take phone calls due to the mic quality being very poor. It sounds muffled and very distant. I wanted to check in before I call in as defect.

Have the same problem. Cannot be heard by other parties on calls, and no way to force my phone mic while using audio output (afaik the latter is a quirk of bluetooth/android itself).
