I wanted to share my experience with the Nothing Phone 2a Plus regarding screen retention. I’ve noticed that the top status bar (time, battery, signal) can show temporary image retention if left static for a while. In my case, it can stay visible for a long time, but it disappears completely after running anti burn-in videos from YouTube for a minute or so.
I’m curious if others have experienced similar issues, whether it’s temporary image retention or, in some cases, permanent burn-in. From my observation, it seems like this panel can hold temporary retention longer than some other AMOLEDs, but it’s not permanent.
Would be great to hear if anyone else has noticed this and how long it tends to stay before fully disappearing.
