Hello Team,

After the latest software update on my Nothing Phone (2a), I noticed a problem with the alarm function. When the alarm rings, I am unable to stop or snooze it directly from the lock screen. The phone requires me to first unlock the device and only then allows me to dismiss the alarm.

Before the update, alarms could be controlled directly from the lock screen, which was convenient and expected behavior. Having to unlock the device every time an alarm rings is inconvenient and could be a potential usability bug.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Set an alarm.

2. Lock the device.

3. When alarm rings, lock-screen controls do not appear; unlock required.

Please look into this, as it seems to be unintended behavior introduced with the update.

Ho installato la nuova versione OS 3.2 Build Pong-v3.2-250828-1921 ed ho riscontrato lo stesso problema, la SIM si attacca e si stacca. Ho provato la stessa SIM su un’altro telefono e funzione correttamente. Ho inserito un’altra SIM sempre sul NOTHING e ha lo stesso problema. L’aggiornamento ha portato una regressione sul riconoscimento della scheda…. Mi AIUTATE. Grazie in anticipo

Firmware (bot) I’m totally sad experiencing Nothing Device 2a recently after the latest OTA update device is not working properly there is a big issue to network connectivity every time I have to on and off airplane mode to solve the network issue but sometimes it works and sometime not.

Second major issue I’m facing in opening PDF files on WhatsApp It is Giving prompt from Opening to Google or google wallet what the hell is going with nothing.

Previously this was giving messages that you don’t have proper app for viewing this content now this time it is giving prompt to open from google wallet and google even selecting to open by these but unsupported msg flashes and back to the same.

Disgusting company and product.

When I play a song on YouTube Music or a video in the background/PiP mode, the audio briefly mutes for a second when I minimise apps like Instagram or Twitter. The video keeps playing but there’s no sound for that moment.

This doesn’t happen with all apps, only with Twitter and Instagram. Closing these apps doesn’t cause the issue, but minimising them does.

Is anyone else facing this issue? If you know any solution, please share.

I got a minor update on my nothing 2a last night . After that update my phone is charging slowly and battery is draining fast. Phone is getting heat up a lot too.

Before this minor update phone was working excellent . Fast charging , no heating and no fast battery draining.

How can this problem be resolved?

NitishkumarMechanicalengineeri absolutely, same thing happening to my nothing phone 2a too. Before this minor upadate phone was working excellent but now its charging has become slow and its heating up and battery draining fast.

NitishkumarMechanicalengineeri hey mate, it’s very common for devices to get hot shortly after a software update. This is because the device is learning new process and requires optimisation. It can take 5-7 days after the update to settle down.

If you continue to face issues then log feedback via settings > system > feedback.

And you could always backup and factory reset device as that’ll sometimes squash small software bugs.
