Sorry to hear this.
Sadly Evri have gotten so much worse recently. I used to have good experiences with them but then our local drivers changed and it all went sideways.
Definitely contact support to see where the investigation status is at, they may have a minimum time before they can process with refunds etc
Also contact evri support. You’ll get a message from a bot telling you they’ll try to get your parcel on track the the next day and that it missed a connection with the driver. Sometimes it does actually turn up after this.
