Honest review of Nothing phone 1 (unbiased)
Hello guys
If u are reading this Im must have shifted from nothing, Nothing was a great experience. To be honest I was very happy when I first got it , The glyph light, design, camera everything was excellent and fine . Like every other thing you get to know about the situation when you investigate more. I used it for 1.5 yrs currently. I have noticed several problems and issues throughout this 1.5 yrs. I would suggest there are many other phones that are much better than this phone. I once ignored all those reviews that nothing phone 1 is a bad phone but sadly the phone has proven me wrong.
Reasons
The battery percentage
As a person who needs to constantly go outside it is highly important to have a good battery backup during normal usages and emergencies. I have faces this a lot whenever I need the phone during emergencies it would be very low with battery or switched off . There is no point of having glyph light and several widgets those are displayed when the screen is off because they consume a lot of battery percentage. So I have to turn on battery mode 24.7. The battery percentage is inaccurate in 1 minute your phone would drain 5 percent if you r playing any game . And the next 5 minute not a single drop in percentage
FOR EXAMPLE - The battery percentage would be 6% at 12. At 12.00 30 seconds the percentage would drop to 5% then the percentage won’t drop until at 12.04 the phone switches off even though the battery clearly shows there is more 5 percent left.
Crashing of phone 1
I saw several reviews saying the phone crashes a lot which I obviously ignored . But recently after using the phone for 450-60 days the phone immediately crashes. It was normal I was used to those crashes I just accepted it sadly but once it completely crashed when I was normally playing CODM in the phone. I went to the nothing tech which is of no use because they would obviously say to change the motherboard which would cost you upto 8 to 9k. Better to save those 9k to buy something else because further I would elaborate some insane reviews
After investing 8k on that phone for repair. It again crashed but now it the app’s which were perfectly fine crashed randomly. Later the call audio detoriated completely. Whenever someone used to call they wouldn’t be able to listen when you speak and I won’t repair or invest more 8k on it .
Camera quality, Overheating, Internet connection issues
I won’t deny the fact that the camera is top notch. But whenever you click a photo u would get a perfectly Excellent photo but later the photo get blurred slowly idk why is happens but it is happening. The internet connection is horrible my other devices r perfect fine with the internet service provider but the phone just doesn’t provide enough connectivity. There is no hidden feature in this phone though they added a hidden feature it seems to be more like a different section which is not hidden rather it doesn’t do the job of hiding the whole section. Overheating is a serious issue . Normal app usage also overheats the phone several times.
CONCLUSION
there are many other phones that provide snapdragon 778 and can give you much more functional services than this phone The glyph lights are not the only thing we want a phone should satisfy your needs the looks cannot satisfy your call , gaming, needed services . Sadly I wanted to use this phone more but the phone has given up and my will to use this phone is completely terminated in any of its manifestation.
