I know the Phone (1) has less LEDs to make a timer.

What if we use the biggest “G” LED strip to use it whole as a timer?

I believe it is possible for Phone (1) to have the timer feature.

    OMEGA it’s not about the size of the LED strip, it’s about how many individual LEDs are there for that strip, their density.

      I saw a post here on community about an app named BLOCKIT(more about it here https://nothing.community/d/6767-blockit-one-of-the-first-apps-to-include-glyph-sdk)

      When i tried the app i saw the exclamation shaped glyph on phone(1) was successfully integrated to use it as timer and worked perfectly …(thanks to @Mirko_ddd )

      I was wondering why don’t the team think about it and implement it if possible because it’ll more than a treat for us phone(1) users🥹.

        Oxytocin✨ by design the GDK is meant to be used for foreground apps. I have to admit that I am pretty worried about the direction Nothing wants to take about glyphs. Being a Phone 2a user and watching the extra features about Glyph progress (track delivery progress or Uber) I really don’t know what would be the behavior of 2 apps running and querying for the Glyphs at the same time.

        I can’t even imagine the downsides, and probably nothing avoids to use the glyph progress because the app has to be in foreground to make it work along other apps that may use GDK.

            Oxytocin✨ a timer is something you expect to work in background, so I can’t imagine how the OS would handle 2 apps asking to access glyphs at the same time.

                Can nothing add glyph timer for NP1. I know the NP1 doesn’t have The LED Module like NP2. But the Charging Indicator Glyph is on the same concept right? So i think a timer can be implanted in the nothing phone 1 ?
