I’m truly frustrated and disappointed by Nothing’s decision to quietly discontinue the Glyph Mirror Styled Image feature on the Nothing Phone (3). As a long-time fan and owner of both the Phone (2) and now the Phone (3), I’ve been a huge advocate for the brand and its unique approach to design and features. The Glyph Mirror, with its matrix-styled image, was a key selling point for me and a major reason why I upgraded.
It’s disheartening to learn that a feature I was excited to use has been removed without any prior announcement or transparent communication. This lack of clarity feels like a step backward for a company that has built its reputation on being consumer-focused and innovative. In a market like Malaysia, where the Nothing brand is still building its presence and loyal following, such actions can seriously erode consumer trust and a dedicated fanbase.
I believe Nothing owes it to its community to be more transparent about these decisions. Fans and consumers deserve to know why a feature was removed, especially one that was heavily promoted. I urge Nothing to clarify its position and demonstrate a commitment to its users. We believe in the company’s vision, but actions like this make it difficult to maintain that hope.
I really hope carl or anyone at nothing can explain this thing…cmon man you made your community losing respect day by day
